Description

A stark, parched seascape with vultures and the naked bones of a well indulged animal kill is presented in oil on canvas. The Thinker symbolises Man cowering in the corner facing away from the barren scene. Man has exterminated himself. The moon continues to rise.

An apocryphal narrative which is intentionally painted to offend and distress and create an alarm response in the viewer. A scene which may well come true. Man has planned, thought, and discussed climate change and has had no effect. Some animals and some birds have survived. Active preservation of nature is urgent.
